Part Time Handyman

Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Part-Time Handyman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with a variety of home repairs and installations, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform general home repairs, maintenance, and small installations (e.g., grab bars, railings, fixtures, basic carpentry, drywall repair, minor plumbing, etc.) Conduct safety modifications to improve accessibility and prevent falls Troubleshoot and resolve minor repair issues in a timely manner Maintain a clean and safe work environment Provide excellent customer service, ensuring residents and families feel comfortable and informed Follow company policies and project standards to ensure consistent quality

Requirements:

Proven experience as a handyman, maintenance worker, or in a similar role Strong knowledge of basic repairs, tools, and safety practices Must have own set of tools and a reliable working truck Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work with hand and power tools Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Valid driver's license and clean driving record Must pass a Level 2 background check prior to employment Professional, courteous, and trustworthy

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with seniors or in healthcare-related environments a plus Knowledge of ADA and accessibility modifications
