The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance and be adept at troubleshooting and repairing various systems. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance tasks, ensuring that all equipment and facilities are functioning optimally. The Maintenance Technician will work closely with other team members to maintain a safe and efficient working environment. Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and other facility equipment.
• Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders and inventory.
• Fabricate and modify components as needed to improve equipment performance or resolve issues.
• Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot electrical systems and logic controllers effectively.
• Supervise maintenance staff during projects, ensuring tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
• Conduct residential painting and general upkeep of facilities to maintain a professional appearance.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and parts used.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management, prioritizing tasks as necessary. Qualifications
• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and general repair techniques.
• Ability to weld and fabricate parts as required for repairs or improvements.
• Familiarity with CMMS software for tracking maintenance activities is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to read and understand schematics.
• Experience supervising or leading a team is desirable but not mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards in all tasks performed.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
