Job Description Summary:

A Maintenance Technician in our organization performs as part of a team and also works independently. You will manage a wide variety of maintenance projects, mechanical and electrical to improve and optimize maintenance operations.

Principal Contacts:

Supervisors, Operators, Maintenance Personager, Office Staff. External contacts

• May interact with visitors and contractors.

Education/Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED required. An Associate's Degree in mechanical or Electronic, Electrical Field or Electrical Certificate is preferred.

Experience Required:

Minimum of two years of experience in similar role.

Competencies Required:

• Must be fully competent in all areas of Mechanical Skills, Pneumatic Skills, and Measurement.
• Prior experience working in a Manufacturing environment is required.
• Must be advanced in all areas of PLC-Software programming skills.
• Must have basic competencies in all areas of General Machine Shop and Welding and working with high and low voltage.
• Must have advanced competencies in all areas of Safety, Troubleshooting, Problem Solving, Project Management, Decision Making and Organizing/Planning.
• Must be advanced in all areas of oral communication, written communication, and team building/participation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Work as part of a team and demonstrate leadership through a commitment to communication, training, and excellent work habits. Demonstrate advanced competence in all aspects of electronic and mechanical processes, utilizing leadership, organization, planning, and project management skills. Provide training on appropriate details of machinery for intermediate troubleshooting and production technicians on basics for simple troubleshooting.

• Responds to all calls after hours as needed.

Must be flexible with work schedule/hours.
