Floor Technician/Janitor

Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. As a Janitor, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our community. This is a vital role in ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for employees, residents and visitors.

Responsibilities:

• Strip & wax floors & carpet cleaning
• Perform routine cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
• Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas, such as hallways, lobbies, and break rooms
• Move furniture in rooms and clean in corners, behind furniture, under beds, etc.
• Follow established safety procedures and guidelines while performing duties
• Adhere to company policies and regulations regarding cleanliness and sanitation standards

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial work is preferred
• Knowledge of floor care techniques, including buffing and waxing
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment is a plus
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required
• Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks within specified timeframes Hours are Monday
