May 2026 Tex‑Tech is a leader in the research, development, and manufacturing of innovative, high‑performance materials. We are looking to add skilled Maintenance Technicians to support our production operations and ensure equipment reliability across our facilities. Position Summary The Maintenance Technician supports the Tex‑Tech Coatings (TTC) division by performing mechanical, electrical, and facility maintenance across multiple sites. This role ensures equipment uptime, supports preventive maintenance programs, and helps maintain a safe, compliant, and efficient manufacturing environment. Work includes troubleshooting, repairs, installations, and routine inspections. Key Responsibilities Perform equipment and facility maintenance across TTC sites, including the Main Plant, External Warehouse, and Weaving Facility. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to ensure safe and efficient operation. Support utility systems including steam generation, compressed air, water, refrigeration, and electrical distribution. Assist in maintaining emission control devices (Solvent Recovery Unit, Thermal Oxidizer, Water Scrubber) to support EPA compliance. Execute preventive maintenance tasks to maximize equipment uptime and reliability. Assist with installation, relocation, and modification of production equipment. Follow all plant safety procedures and support Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs. Inspect ongoing and completed work to ensure quality standards and OSHA compliance. Support contractor activities during maintenance projects and equipment installations. Maintain inventory of tools, spare parts, and maintenance supplies. Complete work orders, PM documentation, and basic reports accurately and on time. Recommend improvements to enhance equipment performance, production efficiency, and safety. Maintain and update basic equipment logs, checklists, and maintenance records. Other duties may be assigned. Education High school diploma or GED required. Technical certificate or coursework in Industrial Maintenance , Electrical Systems , Mechanical Systems , or related field preferred. Qualifications & Skills 3-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance , manufacturing, or equipment repair. Strong knowledge of mechanical principles, machining practices, and basic fabrication techniques. Ability to diagnose and repair motors, pumps, valves, gearboxes, conveyors, and related equipment. Basic electrical troubleshooting skills (sensors, circuits, control components). Familiarity with computer‑controlled equipment and automated production systems. Experience with preventive maintenance programs and CMMS systems. Ability to read and interpret safety rules, procedures, schematics, and work instructions in English. Ability to complete basic reports and communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers. Ability to perform basic math, including measurements and simple algebra. Ability to follow written, verbal, or diagrammed instructions and troubleshoot routine issues. Strong focus on quality, productivity, and safe equipment operation. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Welding, fabrication, or machine‑shop experience is a plus. Travel Requirements Occasional travel to other sites. Physical Requirements Ability to work in non‑climate‑controlled manufacturing environments. Comfortable with loud equipment, chemical exposure, and PPE requirements. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally, walk stairs, and stand on concrete floors.
