Facilities Technician (Full-Time or Part-Time) The Elizabethan Gardens -

$16.00 per hour The Elizabethan Gardens is seeking a reliable and motivated Facilities Technician to help maintain our beautiful public gardens, historic structures, and visitor facilities. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in maintaining attractive public spaces, and appreciates working in a unique outdoor environment. Position Details Full-time or part-time opportunities available Hourly rate: $16.00 per hour Flexible scheduling available Weekend and occasional holiday work required Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on buildings, facilities, and grounds Operate and maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles safely Conduct preventative maintenance and facility inspections Assist with event setup and breakdown Complete basic carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, and irrigation repairs Maintain clean, safe, and welcoming public areas Respond promptly to maintenance needs and work orders Support the overall mission and visitor experience of The Elizabethan Gardens Qualifications Experience in facilities maintenance, landscaping, construction, groundskeeping, or a related field preferred Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong work ethic, dependability, and attention to detail Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions Valid driver's license preferred
