Responsibilities Include:

Maintain all maintenance and repair of buildings and equipment Perform walk-through inspections to identify problems Correct any plumbing or electrical issues and perform preventative maintenance Perform periodic, unscheduled, and preventative maintenance of all HVAC systems Perform minor carpentry and masonry repairs Complete work orders Respond to emergency calls and situations Rotate hours on-call duty and weekend checks Set up/tear down for special events Perform related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

At least three years of building trade experience CFR certification is preferred Must be self-motivated. Must understand and walk out University Covenant Must be congenial, possess strong interpersonal skills, and work well with people Possess good organization and management skills Must maintain a comprehensive view of campus and events while attending to details Be alert to the needs of the office and staff Speak well using the telephone and to the public Should be capable of accomplishing short-range tasks Should be capable of planning for long-range projects Must have experience operating audio/visual equipment Must have a flexible schedule and be able to work outside normal business hours and weekends Must have a working knowledge of computers and the ability to use and work with various types of software systems: Microsoft Office, Adobe illustrator, and word processing and editing Be a fast learner Dependable, productive, and responsible Self-motivated and committed to working in a team environment Exceptional personal communication skills, including verbal and written skills Attention to detail and conscientious of the task at hand Ability to manage constant change and multiple tasks Ability to receive supervision, direction, and constructive criticism Ability to relate positively to others Applicants should submit a cover letter, resume, and a list of at least three professional references by email.
