  • 5:00 PM (40 hours/week, overtime as required) Contract duration: 12+ Months with possible extension Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing facility team.
This role is essential in ensuring the continuous operation, safety, and efficiency of industrial equipment and systems. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic knowledge, along with experience in industrial maintenance practices. They will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and maintaining equipment to uphold production standards. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic manufacturing environment dedicated to quality and innovation. Duties Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment using schematics, technical manuals, and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) tools. Troubleshoot electrical systems, including low voltage and high voltage components, utilizing ammeters, ohmmeters, and other precision measuring instruments. Repair and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Conduct welding operations, including welding techniques, to repair or fabricate metal components. Operate field service equipment such as scissor lifts safely to access elevated machinery or structures. Interpret schematics and mechanical drawings to diagnose issues accurately and implement effective solutions. Maintain detailed maintenance records and update CMMS for work orders, parts inventory, and service history. Support technical sales efforts by providing insights into equipment capabilities and maintenance requirements. Collaborate with team members to improve maintenance procedures, reduce downtime, and enhance overall operational efficiency. Ensure compliance with safety standards related to HVAC/R systems, electrical work, and high-voltage operations. Qualifications Proven experience in industrial mechanic work within a manufacturing facility environment. Strong electrical experience with knowledge of industrial electrician practices, including low voltage wiring and troubleshooting. Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools. Skilled in welding techniques relevant to welding standards. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and SCADA systems used in automation processes. Experience with HVAC/R systems maintenance and repair is highly desirable. Ability to read schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals fluently in English. Demonstrated analysis skills for troubleshooting complex machinery issues efficiently. Knowledge of CMMS software for work order management is preferred. Industrial electrician experience or certification is advantageous. Prior military experience in technical or maintenance roles is a plus. Strong customer service orientation when working with internal teams or external vendors. Ability to operate heavy machinery such as scissor lifts safely. Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on field service expertise ensures comprehensive maintenance capabilities.
