Job Description

About the Role We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our senior living community team. In this role, you'll support the Maintenance Director in ensuring our property remains safe, functional, and welcoming for residents, staff, and visitors. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who is resident-focused, detail-oriented, and experienced in multiple areas of maintenance. Key Responsibilities Perform general apartment maintenance, including unit turns and preventative maintenance Complete service requests/work orders accurately and on time Diagnose, repair, and replace HVAC systems Perform plumbing and intermediate electrical repairs Maintain buildings, equipment, and grounds to high standards Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies Collaborate with team members to support efficient operations Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum 5 years of experience in multifamily or senior living maintenance EPA certification (or equivalent) required Strong working knowledge of HVAC-R systems Experience with water source heat pumps preferred Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and customer service skills Work Schedule & Requirements Full-time (40 hours/week)
Schedule:
Tuesday-Saturday (off Sunday & Monday) On-call rotation required for emergencies Ability to lift 20+ lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally Comfortable working in various conditions (outdoors, confined spaces, etc.) Additional Information Occasional travel within the Charlotte-area portfolio may be required Opportunities for off-site training Why Join Us?
