!!!. We are seeking a motivated and high performing Deck Delivery and Install Specialist to join our dynamic team. Construction experience preferred. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality decks to customers' locations and ensuring their proper installation. Your enthusiasm for customer service, combined with your ability to handle physical tasks and operate various equipment, will help us provide exceptional service. Responsibilities Safely operate delivery trucks and other commercial vehicles to deliver decks to customer sites, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Load and unload deck materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques, ensuring secure handling of all items. Follow designated delivery routes efficiently while managing time effectively to meet scheduled appointments. Assist with the installation of decks on-site, including measuring, positioning, and securing materials according to project specifications. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about delivery times, installation procedures, and answering any questions professionally. Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after deliveries to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, installations, and any issues encountered during the process. Qualifications Prior experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with deck or construction materials. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks and vehicles with manual transmission is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently; experience with moving heavy materials is a plus. Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks; certification is advantageous. Experience in route driving, load & unload procedures, and working in outdoor environments. Physical stamina for manual labor tasks including lifting, bending, climbing ladders, and working in various weather conditions. $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
