Job DescriptionSummary:
1st Shift M - F 7 am - 3 pm with possible overtimeMaintenance Technician III is an Electro-Mechanical position and responsibilities will include but not be limited to supporting manufacturing operations, adjusting and repairing equipment as needed, tracking usage of and ordering replacement parts.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair complex electro-mechanical problems with manufacturing equipmentPerform detailed setup on equipment including recipe changes and control adjustmentsRepair and keep mechanical machine components in top operating conditionAdvanced understanding of electrical principles such as voltage, current and resistanceDiagnose and repair electrical control circuits, field devices, sensors, photo eyes, etc.
Advanced understanding of electrical safety and motor control circuits and programmable drivesTroubleshoot the inputs and outputs on PLC and repair issuesComplete projects to add electrical circuits and controls, new equipment and relocate machinesMaintain and repair pneumatic systems including repairs of cylinders and other componentsPerform simple to complex mechanical Preventative Maintenance Tasks following instructionsEnter all work completed in computer-based maintenance programMonitor and report spare parts usage including completing parts order formsAdjust equipment based on Statistical Process Control data and team with QATrain Level I and II technicians in more complex tasks and skillsPerforms other duties as assignedQualifications Associates degree in related field, or equivalent related experience3-7 years' maintenance experience in a manufacturing environmentKnowledge of and experience with Lock-Out, Tag-Out proceduresAble to strictly adhere to safety policies/procedures and be committed to customer quality. Must be available for regular standby assignments; work scheduled off-hours and emergency overtime as required.
