Job Description

Bullfrog Pool Service is seeking a skilled and motivated Pool Repair Technician to join our growing team. This is a full-time & part-time, year-round position with long-term growth potential. The primary focus of this role is equipment repair, installation, and troubleshooting, with occasional support of residential maintenance routes as needed. Position Summary The Pool Repair Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and installing swimming pool equipment and systems. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and prior pool industry experience. When service demand requires, the technician may assist with routine pool maintenance to support the team. Primary Responsibilities (Repair & Installation) Diagnose and troubleshoot pool equipment and system issues Pump and motor replacement and installation Heater installation and repair Automation and control system installation and troubleshooting Salt system installation and service Filter flushes and sand changes Valve repair and plumbing repairs Gasket and O-ring replacement Inspect equipment for safety and proper operation Clearly communicate repair needs and solutions Secondary Responsibilities (As Needed Maintenance Support) Service a residential pool route when required Test, balance, and adjust water chemistry Clean pools, vacuum, skim, and remove debris Backwash filters Perform general preventative maintenance Qualifications Previous pool repair and equipment experience required Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability Knowledge of pool systems, hydraulics, and water chemistry Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently Clean driving record Ability to pass background check Reliable transportation Ability to lift up to 50 lbs This position is ideal for a technician who enjoys technical repair work but is also willing to be a team player and step into maintenance duties when needed.

$19.00 - $25.00 per hour
