We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician for our beautiful student property, located in Winston Salem, NC. We would like to fill this position as soon as possible. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining efficient operations and upkeep of the property buildings and grounds in a supportive role. This involves ensuring a clean and well maintained living environment for residents, visitors, and staff from the inside to the outside. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing diagnosis, performing minor and routine maintenance, and repairing items in a supportive role on items such as: A/C and heating systems in a supportive role Shutters, doors, cabinets, windows, etc. Appliances Boiler, gas, and electric Stairs, gates, fences, patios, railings Door locks, Mail boxes, and locks Tile, carpet, flooring Controlled access systems (where applicable) Roofing, gutters, fasteners Ceiling Leaks Interior and Exterior Lighting Walls Ceiling Fans Pool Areas, tile, Jacuzzi, pool furniture Additional job duties include the following: (but not limited to) Assist with maintaining accurate records regarding preventive maintenance, service requests (received and completed), orders and expenditures, apartment make-ready status, work-in-progress, etc. Helps to ensures that all make ready repairs and services are completed correctly and on schedule. Reports all major repairs and requisitions to Lead Technician in a timely manner. Responsible for cleaning work area, tools, and equipment when necessary. Assists with and maintains adequate inventory of spare parts and maintenance materials to handle most common repairs and situations. Performs any additional duties assigned by the Lead Maintenance Technician and/or Property Manager.
Required Education and Experience:
(to include but not limited to) High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. 3 years or more experience in property management maintenance or equivalent field. EPA Certification required. CPO Certification a plus
Job Requirements:
