Bismarck, ND (Regional Work) About Newman Signs Newman Signs is a long‑standing North Dakota company specializing in billboard and large‑format signage. We are known for quality workmanship, strong safety practices, and long‑term employees who take pride in their work. Position Summary This position installs, maintains, and services billboard and outdoor sign structures throughout central and western North Dakota. The role includes a mix of ground‑level work and work at elevation, depending on the site. Installations are performed using ladders, bucket trucks, or lifts. For elevated work, all safety equipment and training are provided.

Health insurance Employer‑provided life insurance 401(k) retirement plan Vacation and Sick-time and paid holidays Company‑provided safety gear, equipment, and training Stable, year‑round employment Key Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair billboard and sign structures Perform routine maintenance and inspections Operate bucket trucks, lifts, and installation tools Load and transport materials to job sites Work as part of a crew to complete jobs safely and efficiently Work Environment & Height Information Some installations and maintenance tasks are completed entirely from the ground Fall‑protection equipment and safety training are provided Required Qualifications Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to perform physical work (lifting, climbing, standing) Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Dependable, safety‑minded, and able to work as part of a team Willingness to travel within the region as needed Preferred (Not Required) Sign, billboard, construction, or trade experience Experience with bucket trucks, lifts, or similar equipment CDL, welding, or electrical experience Safety training or certifications

Pay:

$22.00 - $30.00 per hour
