In this role, you'll serve as the on-site maintenance leader responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining building systems while helping keep the property running safely, smoothly, and looking its best. - Diagnosing and repairing HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, and general building system issues
- Leading and completing apartment turns to meet move-in deadlines and quality standards
- Prioritizing, completing, and closing out resident service requests
- Performing preventative maintenance to keep the property operating at a high level
- Coordinating and managing third-party vendors as needed
- Maintaining shop organization, tools, inventory, and supply levels
- Keeping property interiors and exteriors clean, safe, and well maintained
- Providing professional, responsive customer service to residents, prospects, and property owners
- Supporting positive resident interactions and a high-quality living experience
- Following Fair Housing guidelines and company policies
- Participating in a rotating on-call schedule for after-hours maintenance emergencies This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have 3+ years of maintenance experience, multifamily/property maintenance preferred
- Have strong hands-on troubleshooting skills
- Have HVAC troubleshooting and repair experience, EPA certification preferred/required
- Have experience with plumbing systems, including fixtures, leaks, and water heaters
- Can troubleshoot basic electrical issues, including outlets, switches, breakers, and lighting
- Have appliance repair experience, preferred
- Are comfortable with drywall, painting, basic carpentry, and full unit turns
- Can work independently with minimal supervision
- Have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Take ownership of your work and can prioritize tasks throughout the day
- Can lift up to 50 lbs. and work indoors/outdoors in varying conditions Benefits and perks may include:
