PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Communicates with the Plant manager on daily production. Perform preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of plant operating equipment to ensure overall operating efficiency and safety.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Manage daily production. Communicate daily with Plant Manager, Plant Engineer and office. Manage a small inventory. Provide repairs of facility equipment. Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventative maintenance. Disassemble and assemble equipment for sanitation and production runs. Make repairs and adjustments in a timely fashion to ensure as little downtime as possible. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. Work with minimal supervision. Comply with all local, state and federal regulations. Maintain, review and create standard operating procedures. Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Must be 18 years or older Must have boiler and pressure vessel knowledge Proficient in the use of hand and shop tools Some industrial maintenance experience is a plus. Must be able to safely operate and repair various facility equipment. Ability to work in fast-paced environment and execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner. Ability to work scheduled hours, which may include overtime, depending upon plant demands. Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Ability to adhere to and enforce safety policies and OSHA compliance guidelines. Must be able to work with a diverse workforce, bilingual is a plus.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Requires the ability to walk, stand, sit and use hands. Must be able to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, crawl, climb ladders. Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Ability to work in varying temperatures with standing cool and cold temperatures down to -10. Must be able to stand and walk on wet, uneven and slippery surfaces. Must be able to work in cold and hot weather
Pay:
From $20.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
