Maintenance Technician

About us Nebraska RIS is a small residential property management firm located in Lincoln, NE. Maintenance Personnel If you are a handyman with or without specialized training, looking to join a positive team, look no further! Nebraska RIS is hiring for just the right person to fill a full time Maintenance position. We are flexible and willing to consider any number of hours you are available, but do prefer someone abler to work at least 40 hours per week. Applicant must have knowledge in light plumbing, electrical, appliances and general maintenance. Employee will perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. Applicant should own all general maintenance tools, but not mandatory. Applicant must be willing to submit to drug screen, criminal background check, and driving record check (clean driving record required by our insurance company). A company vehicle will be supplied. Full hours with rotating on-call weeks required for after hours calls.

Compensation:

Wage is commensurate to experience. If you have specialized training (HVAC, plumbing, appliances etc.) that will be considered when determining your salary.

Maintenance Job Duties:

Light Plumbing, General Electrical, drywall repair, touch up painting, appliance repair, locks, knobs, time management and customer service

Position Requirements:

Must be available to work at least 35 to 45 hours a week. Must be available for emergency on-call maintenance on rotating weeks. Must be knowledge in all aspects of general "handy-man" maintenance. Must be able to speak, read, write, and comprehend English. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be detail oriented and efficient. Must have excellent time management skills. Must adhere to all safety rules and regulations. Compensation & Benefits The hourly wage is commensurate to experience plus benefits.
