Job Description
At Percy, we're building new ways to connect talented professionals with meaningful career opportunities at leading companies in the multifamily industry. We're currently seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to support a 200+ unit garden-style apartment community in Lincoln, NE. This role is ideal for an EPA-certified technician who can work independently, knock out a backlog of resident work orders, and handle unit turns with urgency and pride in craftsmanship. You'll partner closely with an onsite Maintenance Supervisor in a clearly defined scope focused on daily service and turns, with a real path to Maintenance Supervisor within the next 18 to 24 months. Responsibilities Complete daily resident work orders across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general repairs Perform unit turns including punch lists, make-readies, and quality checks for move-in readiness Diagnose and troubleshoot AC and HVAC issues efficiently, especially during peak summer demand Maintain curb appeal and common areas through routine inspections and preventative maintenance Participate in an on-call rotation approximately one week every 6 to 7 weeks once fully staffed Qualifications EPA certification required (Type I or Type II minimum; Universal strongly preferred) 1+ years of maintenance experience in multifamily, senior living, or hotel environments Strong HVAC fundamentals with confidence diagnosing AC issues independently Ability to work through a high volume of work orders without close supervision Reliable transportation and availability for on-call response Perks Total compensation range of approximately $50,000 to $62,000 annually (includes base pay plus bonus potential), with top-end base equivalent of $27/hour and bonus potential pending approval Rent discount available (details to be confirmed) Manageable on-call cadence once fully staffed Full benefits package including all major insurance, 401k, and PTO Work for a nationwide company that can offer growth and stability
