Job Description

Job Overview Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in facilities maintenance, electrical systems, and possess strong leadership skills. This is an important piece of our production team here at King Steel. We are looking for a candidate who is flexible, knowledgeable, and mechanically inclined. Candidates must be able to speak clearly, as it is a mildly noisy environment. Employees should be eager to perform other duties (help in other areas), while maintaining a good attitude & attendance. Completing the personality test is a requirement in order for your application to be considered.
Salary Range:
$21.00 - $25.00 per hour Benefits Hourly Base Salary + Bonus Opportunities Paid Time Off (PTO) Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Disability Insurance Hands on Training Career Growth Opportunities Retirement Plan Requirements Proven experience in facilities maintenance Proficiency in electrical systems and troubleshooting Excellent customer service skills Proficiency in English for effective communication Warehouse Experience is a plus but not required. Safety & housekeeping awareness Good organization & Time management skills. Be able to maintain long periods of standing and bending. Ability to work in a team environment, with a sense of urgency. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment Troubleshoot electrical systems and make necessary repairs Check the performance of machinery Clean and lubricate machines Test damaged machine parts to determine whether major repairs are necessary Perform preventative maintenance Assist in developing maintenance plans Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities Ensure all safety regulations are followed Welding tasks as needed Maintain inventory of spare parts and equipment Program and troubleshoot logic controllers
