In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of various types of garage doors and openers. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction and electrical work, with the ability to read blueprints and operate power tools effectively. You will work both independently and as part of a team on various construction sites, ensuring that all installations meet safety standards and customer satisfaction. Duties Install, repair, and maintain garage doors and openers according to specifications. Perform heavy lifting as required during installations and repairs. Utilize power tools for fixture installation, including door hanging and frame carpentry. Read blueprints to accurately determine installation requirements. Conduct site assessments to ensure proper measurements and fit for garage door installations. Collaborate with team members on construction sites to complete projects efficiently. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions and concerns during service calls. Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all job sites. Qualifications Proven experience in construction or related fields is preferred. Strong skills in heavy lifting, fixture installation, trim carpentry, door hanging, and frame carpentry. Familiarity with electrical systems related to garage door openers is a plus. Proficient in the use of power tools and equipment necessary for installation tasks. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
