This full-time, direct-hire role will maintain mechanical and electrical systems at the company's Bedford, NH facility to ensure production runs smoothly and safely. Responsibilities of the Maintenance Mechanic Work closely with the Production Manager to troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and overhaul production and PLC-controlled fabrication equipment Contribute to workflow improvement projects Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems Weld and fabricate parts Perform routine maintenance and repairs Follow OSHA and industrial regulations Perform additional tasks as assigned Qualifications of the Maintenance Mechanic High school diploma or equivalent 5+ years of experience in maintenance of industrial machinery in a manufacturing environment (trade license not required) Good familiarity with drives, gearboxes, motors, and PLCs Experience with machining and welding Knowledge of electrical maintenance 480V and under (wiring, circuits, power suppliers, PLC troubleshooting, etc.) Ability to weld and fabricate Ability to work well independently and as part of a team Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and efficiency Proficiency in reading schematics and technical documents in English The Maintenance Mechanic works Monday through Friday from 8:00am-4:30pm, with occasional overtime, for $22-$25/hour, depending on experience.
