Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician III to join our team. This is a full-time senior-level position for an individual with extensive experience in housing and apartment maintenance, general construction, and full unit renovations. The Maintenance Technician III will handle advanced carpentry, renovation projects, and structural repairs, in addition to diagnosing and resolving complex maintenance issues. This position requires the ability to work independently, take on-call shifts , and travel to various properties to perform services. Duties Perform advanced maintenance, repairs, and renovations for residential, multifamily, and commercial properties. Complete full apartment renovations including kitchens and bathrooms (showers, sinks, toilets, flooring, drywall, painting, cabinets, and countertops). Perform advanced carpentry work including framing walls and doors. Repair and replace siding as needed. Repair and rebuild decks and perform work on concrete stairs and walkways. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex maintenance and structural issues. Perform plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, flooring, and general construction work as required. Maintain accurate and detailed records of work orders completed throughout the day. Accurately track time and materials used on projects. Use iPad and designated applications to document work, update work orders, and communicate job status. Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company policies. Participate in on-call rotations and respond to maintenance emergencies as required. Qualifications Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation. Proven experience in apartment maintenance, general construction, and full unit renovations. Advanced carpentry skills. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple projects. Willingness to work flexible hours, including on-call shifts, to support operational demands. Selected candidates must be willing to submit a portfolio (book of work) showcasing previous maintenance, renovation, or construction projects they have completed, as well as a video questionnaire.
