This role offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors on a variety of fencing projects, helping to enhance properties and secure spaces. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for assisting with the installation, repair, and maintenance of fences while supporting other construction-related tasks. This position is ideal for individuals eager to develop their skills in construction, carpentry, and landscape maintenance in a fast-paced environment that values safety, teamwork, and quality workmanship. Duties Assist with the installation and repair of various types of fences, including wood, vinyl, chain-link, and ornamental styles. Use hand tools and power tools to measure, cut, assemble, and secure fencing materials accurately. Perform heavy lifting of fencing panels, posts, concrete forms, and other materials to ensure efficient project progress. Support concrete forming and finishing tasks for fence footings or related structures as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work site by removing debris, securing tools, and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times. Aid in landscape maintenance and hardscape projects that complement fencing installations. Follow detailed instructions from supervisors to ensure precise alignment and secure installation of fences. Skills Experience with construction sites or related labor roles demonstrating familiarity with building environments. Strong carpentry skills including frame carpentry and masonry work for foundational elements. Ability to operate hand tools such as hammers, saws, drills, as well as power tools like post drivers and concrete mixers. Knowledge of welding techniques for fence components or structural supports is a plus. Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. Understanding of concrete finishing processes for setting fence posts securely in the ground. Basic masonry skills for creating stable bases or supporting structures related to fencing projects.
