Job Description
Overview Join our team as a Maintenance Technician for our 42 apartments on 7 properties in Manchester, NH. Become the go-to expert for maintaining and improving our properties! In this energetic role, you will take charge of a wide range of repair and maintenance tasks, apartment renovations, light landscaping, and snow removal, ensuring that our environment remains safe, functional, and welcoming. Your proactive approach and versatile skills will help keep everything running smoothly, creating a positive space for colleagues and visitors alike. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your craftsmanship while making a tangible impact every day. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections of buildings, fixtures, and equipment to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards. Carry out repairs, including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, painting, and general handyman tasks with precision and care. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from team members or management to resolve issues efficiently. Keep detailed records of work performed, parts used, and maintenance schedules to support ongoing facility management. Collaborate with team members to prioritize repairs and improvements. Experience Proven experience as a handyman or in a similar maintenance role with a broad skill set across multiple trades. Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, painting, and basic appliance repair. Ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and implement effective solutions independently. Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Good communication skills to understand work requests clearly and report on completed tasks effectively. Valid driver's license preferred for transportation of tools or parts when necessary. Certifications in relevant trades (such as electrical or plumbing licenses) are a plus, but not mandatory. This role is perfect for motivated individuals who thrive on hands-on work and enjoy making spaces better every day! Will need you to supply your basic set of tools. An advanced set of tools and supplies is provided.
