Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dependable person. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining garage doors and related components in various garages. The position requires proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques to ensure precise and durable installations. We are willing to train the right person. Responsibilities Install and assemble garage doors, including glass installation, fixture installation, and trim carpentry. Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques to complete installations. Perform heavy lifting to move doors, panels, and related hardware safely and efficiently. Apply caulking and perform remodeling tasks related to garage door systems. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes on construction sites. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while maintaining quality standards. Qualifications Proven experience in construction-related roles such as carpentry, remodeling, or handyman work a plus. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and fabrication processes. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights or in confined spaces. Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills. Prior construction site experience is highly desirable.
