Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Staff member to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our facilities and equipment. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and well-functioning environment across various operational areas. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced setting, contributing directly to the overall success of our organization. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery, electrical systems, and building infrastructure to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters. Conduct painting or repairs as needed to maintain facility aesthetics and structural integrity. Operate Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for automated equipment troubleshooting and adjustments. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work orders, track maintenance activities, and schedule future tasks. Supervise or assist with facilities maintenance projects, ensuring safety standards and quality control are met. Support manufacturing operations by maintaining production equipment and assisting with equipment upgrades or modifications. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff or tenants. Lead or assist team members during maintenance activities, promoting safety awareness and teamwork. Requirements Proven experience in facilities maintenance, manufacturing, or related fields with a strong mechanical knowledge base. Proficiency in reading schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams; experience with electrical systems is essential. Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), CMMS software, and troubleshooting tools like ohmmeters. Basic understanding of schematics for electrical and mechanical systems; ability to interpret technical drawings accurately. Strong communication skills in English to effectively coordinate with team members and report issues clearly. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces safely.
