Maintenance Technician / Handyman

Tuscan Brands seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance Technician / Handyman to support the maintenance and repair needs of multiple restaurant locations. The ideal candidate is experienced in electrical work, HVAC/refrigeration systems, plumbing, painting, and general repairs, with the ability to troubleshoot issues quickly in a fast-paced food service environment.

Responsibilities:

Perform preventative maintenance and general repairs across restaurant locations Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical issues including lighting, outlets, switches, and equipment connections Maintain and assist with HVAC, AC, and refrigeration systems Perform plumbing repairs including sinks, drains, faucets, toilets, and leak repairs Complete painting, patchwork, and cosmetic repairs as needed Repair doors, walls, flooring, shelving, fixtures, and kitchen equipment Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to minimize operational downtime Conduct routine inspections to identify repair and safety issues Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors when necessary Ensure compliance with safety, health, and building regulations Maintain tools, supplies, and maintenance records

Qualifications:

Previous experience in restaurant, commercial, or facilities maintenance preferred Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC/refrigeration, painting, and general maintenance Ability to diagnose problems and complete repairs independently Strong time management and organizational skills Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends if needed Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in kitchen and facility environments

Preferred Certifications:

EPA Certification for refrigeration/HVAC work preferred Electrical license or certification is a plus but not required for basic maintenance tasks OSHA or safety training preferred

Job Type:

Full-time / Part-time available Travel between restaurant locations may be required On-call availability may be needed for urgent maintenance issues

Pay:

$65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
