This is not an entry-level position . Candidates must have hands-on experience servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing residential pool and spa systems. The ideal candidate is dependable, mechanically skilled, comfortable working independently in the field, and able to diagnose and complete break/fix repairs accurately and efficiently. This role includes both routine pool service and equipment repair work. Responsibilities Perform weekly pool and spa service on assigned routes Clean and maintain swimming pools and spas Skim pools, vacuum, brush walls and tile lines, and empty skimmer and pump baskets Test and balance pool water chemistry Add chemicals safely and accurately Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair pool and spa equipment Perform break/fix repairs on pumps, filters, heaters, chlorinators, salt systems, valves, timers, automation systems, and related equipment Diagnose equipment failures and recommend appropriate repairs or replacements Replace parts such as motors, seals, gaskets, valves, cartridges, sensors, control boards, and other pool equipment components Backwash and clean filters as needed Assist with pool openings, closings, and seasonal maintenance Identify plumbing issues, electrical concerns, leaks, and equipment malfunctions Communicate professionally with customers regarding work performed, issues found, and recommended repairs Keep accurate service notes, repair details, parts used, and recommendations Maintain company vehicle, tools, and service equipment in clean and working condition Follow all safety procedures when handling chemicals, tools, and pool equipment Requirements Minimum 2 years of hands-on pool service and repair experience required Must have experience performing break/fix repairs on pool and spa equipment Must be able to diagnose and repair pumps, filters, heaters, chlorinators, salt systems, valves, timers, automation systems, and related equipment Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills required Working knowledge of pool water chemistry required Experience with pool openings, closings, weekly service, and seasonal maintenance required Basic plumbing and electrical troubleshooting experience required Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, meters, and service equipment Ability to work independently and complete service calls accurately Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor throughout the day Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required Must be reliable, punctual, and professional
