Camden, NJ Job Details Full-time $22 - $24 an hour Benefits Dental insurance 401(k) Tuition reimbursement Parental leave Employee assistance program Flexible schedule Retirement plan Qualifications Manufacturing equipment maintenance Manufacturing plant facilities maintenance experience Industrial mechanic experience Maintenance High school diploma or GED Manufacturing Facilities maintenance Full Job Description Basic Purpose - Maintenance Mechanic "C" The Maintenance Mechanic "C" is responsible for supporting production operations by safely maintaining Catelli Brothers' equipment to ensure the highest quality lamb and veal products are produced efficiently and cost-effectively. This role requires adherence to all GMPs, environmental, and regulatory standards. Also provides support and back-up coverage to the Maintenance Assistant Manager as needed. This role reports directly to the maintenance Manager. Key Responsibilities Perform routine and emergency maintenance on production and facility equipment. Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain automated and mechanical systems, including hydraulic components and drive systems. Install and maintain production equipment, including work on elevated platforms. Read and interpret piping diagrams, equipment manuals, and technical specifications. Perform building maintenance tasks, including plumbing repairs (e.g., unclogging drains, replacing fixtures, toilet repairs). Safely operate shop equipment such as grinders, cut-off saws, drills, and other power tools. Maintain cleanliness of equipment through proper cleaning and degreasing techniques. Troubleshoot electrical systems up to 480 volts. Respond to emergency breakdowns and collaborate with production teams to resolve issues efficiently. Perform additional duties as assigned Technical Skills Working knowledge of Mechanical drives systems, including belts, chains, gearboxes, and motors Basic understanding of Hydraulic and pneumatic systems including components, operation, and troubleshooting Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair automated and production equipment in manufacturing environment Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required (technical degree preferred) Technical or vocational training in industrial maintenance, mechanical systems or related field preferred Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed. Basic understanding of mechanical systems and repair techniques Exposure to automated equipment and production lines preferred Experience Minimum 3-4 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, food processing, or warehouse environment Proficiency with hand tools and power tools. Working knowledge of OSHA, FDA, and GMP regulations in a food processing environment Physical Requirements Must be able to stand, walk, reach overhead, use hand tools, power tools and move through the facility for extended periods, Ability to work in environment conditions cold, hot, noise etc. to lift, carry, push and pull, frequently bending, kneeling while performing the duties of this job. •EOE Race/Color/Religion/Sex/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity/Gender Expression/National Origin/Protected Veteran/Disability Status•
