This role is responsible for the daily care, safety, and comfort of residents through interior/exterior building maintenance, apartment repairs, common area upkeep, and timely response to service requests. A comprehensive compensation package will be discussed during the interview process. Position requires candidate to live on-site in company provided unit after 90-day probationary period. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Conduct daily building walks to monitor conditions of the property, systems, and common areas Diagnose maintenance issues and determine repair needs Perform general apartment and common area repairs, including: Sheetrock repair/installation (walls and ceilings), spackle/patching Hardwood and terrace flooring repair/installation Kitchen cabinet repair/installation HVAC equipment repair/installation Sliding terrace door repair/replacement (including glass as needed) Electrical device replacement and basic wiring repairs Plumbing repairs in kitchens and bathrooms (including clogged drains/sewer lines) Tile repair/replacement (floors and walls), grouting, and caulking Repair/replacement of A/C wall units Set up/replace kitchen appliances Maintain and service boiler room components for heat and hot water systems Participate in snow removal and ensure safe sidewalks/entrances during winter weather Be available for on-call assignments during evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled Complete additional duties as assigned by supervisor Skills and Qualifications Strong hands-on experience in residential building maintenance and repairs Comfortable climbing ladders and working safely overhead (electrical/plumbing/repairs) Ability to work in crawl spaces and confined areas when needed Ability to transport and install materials and equipment such as vanities, A/C units, appliances, sinks, counters, and doors Experience installing or replacing windows and door hardware is a plus Must have own tools and reliable vehicle Reliable, punctual, and able to meet deadlines Physical Requirements Ability to lift, push, pull, and/or move up to 50 pounds Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, squat, climb/descend stairs, and open/close doors Walk property daily, including units/roof/garage/building perimeter to ensure safety and maintenance needs Ability to climb up to a 6-foot ladder as needed Requirements Ability to work evenings/weekends/on-call as required Work authorization required

Pay:

$18.00 - $23.00 per hour
