You'll be our first call for quick turnarounds and clean, professional work. Responsibilities Respond to maintenance requests (urgent and non-urgent) across multiple units Troubleshoot and fix common STR issues such as locks/lockboxes/smart locks, doors/hinges/handles, minor plumbing (toilets, faucets, clogs, leaks; basic supply line swaps), minor electrical (switches, outlets, fixtures; basic troubleshooting, drywall patch/paint touch-ups, caulk, grout, trim repairs, furniture assembly, wall mounting (TVs, shelves, art), curtain rods/blinds, appliance resets/basic troubleshooting Preventive maintenance checks and quick punch-list items after turnovers Document work with before/after photos + short notes Coordinate with our team for access, parts, and scheduling Escalate to licensed trades when appropriate (plumber/electric/HVAC) Requirements 3+ years handyman/maintenance experience (residential preferred) Strong troubleshooting ability; self-sufficient on job sites Reliable transportation + ability to move tools/materials Own tools for standard handyman tasks Smartphone (text/photo documentation required) Professional communication and clean work standards (guests may be present) Availability for occasional same-day requests and weekend coverage Must be able to pass basic background screening Preferred Experience with STRs/hospitality environments Familiarity with smart locks (Schlage/Yale/August), thermostats, Wi-Fi troubleshooting Light carpentry and finish work Licensed/insured (nice to have; not required if qualified)Pay & Structure Choose one (we can match how you prefer to work):

Hourly:

$25-$35/hr based on skill + speed (2-hour minimum typical) Per-job pricing: flat rates for common tasks (agreed in advance) Emergency call add-on: premium for after-hours/urgent guest saves Materials reimbursed with receipts. Consistent volume for the right person. Schedule & Response Expectations Typical jobs scheduled during weekday hours Some urgent calls: lockouts, leaks, power issues, appliance failures Preferred response time: urgent issues: within 1-3 hours (when available), non-urgent: within 24-72 hours What Success Looks Like Fast, dependable response and clear communication Clean, professional finishes (hospitality standard) Low repeat issues and strong documentation
