Maintenance Mechanic

Qualifications:

Knowledge and prior experience in one of the following required: Plumbing HVAC Electrical Must have Black Seal Boiler License or willing to obtain within one year of employment Able to delegate work and supervise performance Able to follow orders and work independently Familiarity with general maintenance of mechanical equipment Responsible for maintaining tools and equipment Valid NJ State Driver's License and satisfactory driving record required Must work overtime as needed or as emergencies arise Must perform snow removal Must work any shift and daily assignment in accordance with the Teamsters Local No. 11 Collective Bargaining Agreement Must be in good health to perform heavy labor tasks Neat appearance Cooperative attitude Satisfactory attendance record Other duties as assigned by the Director of District Facilities or designee

Salary Range:

$47,000 - $56,000 + Additional $2,249 Plumber or HVAC License or $12,240 Contractor License Stipend if applicable. Stipends also available for electricians. Subject to negotiations.
