POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Facility Maintenance Worker is responsible for the maintenance and repair of all production-related items.

PRIMARY DUTIES

Receives general and specific instructions from supervision and then carries out work unsupervised. Performance of routine maintenance and repairs to plant systems. Perform regular scheduled preventative maintenance inspections. Perform electrical repairs on all facility-related electrical systems. Assist with production maintenance as required. Completion of all required maintenance documentation. Performance of miscellaneous duties inherent to the job. Other tasks as assigned. Report any safety and quality issues/problems to personnel with authority to initiate action. Properly follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's). Requirements

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds. Capable of climbing. Must be able to be on feet for long periods of time. Must be able to work in both hot and cold environments. Must be able to work on man lifts at ceiling height.

SKILLS AND, KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
