Job Description

Stonebridge at Montgomery is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team! $1,500 Sign-On Bonus! Stonebridge at Montgomery is a Springpoint Senior Living Community located in Skillman, NJ. We are currently in search of a full-time Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. At Springpoint, our Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for providing general maintenance for the facility and its residents.
Responsibilities:
Work as a team member with other Maintenance/Facilities Department workers Assist Maintenance Mechanic I to maintain, repair, clean and inspect various equipment throughout the facility including pumps, valves, air handling units, ventilators, fan coils, compressors, motors, roof exhausts, installation of rugs, demolition of apartments, painting, etc. Able to make use of an electronic work order system Maintain accurate records of time and scope utilizing work order request forms Interact well with and assist various vendors and contractors called in to repair or provide services to facility. Provide appropriate assistance to residents, co-workers, and visitors. Represent the facility in a professional manner. Must be able to report to work at off-hours in cases of emergency. Perform all duties in a timely, effective, and cost-efficient manner. Complete and return work order tickets at end of day. Complete communication forms at apartment detailing work complete if resident was not at home. Maintain professional relationships and interact with co-workers, superiors, residents, and visitors. Follow published fire and safety procedures. Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as necessary.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
