Maintenance Technician

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure the optimal operation of our facilities and equipment. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems, including HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration), electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment. Troubleshoot and repair appliances, air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, and other mechanical devices using schematics and technical manuals. Conduct repairs on various equipment and machinery to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency. Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to accurately diagnose issues. Lead small maintenance projects or assist construction teams during facility upgrades or renovations. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability and future reference. Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to ensure safety and operational continuity. Experience Proven service technician experience with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or mechanical maintenance. Demonstrated ability to read schematics and technical diagrams effectively. Experience with HVAC systems including air conditioning units and refrigeration is highly preferred. Knowledge of construction practices related to building maintenance or upgrades is a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with leadership qualities capable of guiding junior team members or contractors when necessary. Prior experience in equipment repair, maintenance planning, or facility management is desirable.
