This position is for someone who already understands residential pool systems and takes pride in doing clean, professional work. Duties Conduct regular inspections of pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators to identify issues early. Repair or replace faulty pool equipment using hand tools and power tools, ensuring minimal downtime for clients. Troubleshoot mechanical problems with pool systems and perform necessary repairs or replacements efficiently. Maintain detailed service logs and documentation of all work performed for each client's pool system. Follow safety protocols during all maintenance activities to ensure a secure working environment. Communicate clearly with clients regarding service needs, maintenance schedules, and repair recommendations. Experience Experience in Pool renovations, Liner installations, new pool construction etc. Proven experience as a pool service technician or in a similar service technician role with a focus on pool maintenance and repair. Strong mechanical knowledge related to pool equipment and systems. Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools for equipment repair and maintenance tasks. Experience with pool cleaning techniques, water chemistry management, and routine upkeep procedures. Ability to diagnose mechanical issues accurately and perform repairs efficiently. Prior experience working outdoors in various weather conditions is preferred. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is often required to travel between job sites.
