Job Description

We are currently seeking a hard-working, customer service-oriented individual with prior apartment maintenance experience to join our team as a Maintenance Technician at our Mt. Holly, NJ property. Position Overview As a Maintenance Technician, you will work alongside the maintenance team to troubleshoot and resolve service issues for residents, including HVAC, appliances, carpentry, painting, and plumbing. You will play a key role in maintaining the overall condition of the property, ensuring both interior and exterior areas meet company standards and all applicable regulations. This role includes responding to maintenance requests, following up with residents and office staff, and participating in an on-call rotation (every other week) that requires flexibility for nights and weekends, as property management operates 24/7. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and repair issues related to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, and general maintenance Respond promptly to service requests and ensure timely completion of work orders Maintain the appearance and functionality of buildings, common areas, and grounds Collaborate with the maintenance and office teams to deliver excellent customer service Communicate effectively with residents, vendors, contractors, and team members Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to after-hours emergencies Must be available during snow and ice events as needed Qualifications Well-rounded experience in apartment maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repair Strong attention to detail for both interior and exterior property upkeep Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Basic computer proficiency, including email and property management software such as RealPage Availability for on-call rotation (every other week) and weather-related emergencies Valid driver's license, good driving record, and auto insurance required Preferred Experience Two or more years of related experience in apartment maintenance, hotel maintenance, or construction trades (or equivalent combination of education and experience) HVAC certification is a plus High school diploma or GED required Interested candidates are encouraged to submit their resume for consideration.
Pay:
$26.00 - $28.00 per hour
