Job Description:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventive, corrective, and troubleshooting maintenance on production equipment, machinery, and facility systems to ensure safe and reliable operations. This role supports manufacturing through equipment repairs, routine inspections, and collaboration with engineering and production teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment, mechanical systems, and facility machinery.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues to minimize equipment downtime.
• Assist with installation, setup, and commissioning of new machines and equipment.
• Complete routine inspections, lubrication, and adjustments on equipment per PM schedules.
• Work with engineering and production teams to support equipment improvements and modifications.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and equipment diagrams.
• Document maintenance activities, parts usage, and repairs in maintenance logs or CMMS.
• Assist with basic fabrication tasks, including simple welding, fixture adjustments, and component replacements.
• Follow all safety procedures and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns promptly and communicate repair status to supervisors.

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certificate or associate degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and equipment manuals.
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, and basic diagnostic equipment.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office or CMMS experience preferred).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
