Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), refrigeration, and appliance systems to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues promptly using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools. Conduct appliance repairs including refrigerators, air conditioning units, HVAC/R systems, and other mechanical devices. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately diagnose problems. Assist with construction or renovation projects related to facility maintenance as needed. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used to ensure compliance and facilitate future troubleshooting. Lead or support team efforts during emergency repairs or system failures to minimize operational disruptions. Skills Proven experience as a service technician with strong appliance repair skills. Solid understanding of HVAC/R systems, refrigeration technology, and air conditioning units. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to repair diverse equipment efficiently. Familiarity with schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals for troubleshooting purposes. Experience in construction or facility maintenance is a plus. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to guide junior team members during complex repairs. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with attention to detail for accurate diagnostics and repairs.
