Duties Install a variety of windows and doors, including custom and standard sizes, following manufacturer specifications and blueprints. Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to accurately cut, assemble, and secure components. Read schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure precise installation aligned with project plans. Perform glass installation, caulking, trim carpentry, frame carpentry, and metal stud framing to create seamless finishes. Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites. Complete fixture installation, cabinet hanging, remodeling tasks, and construction painting as needed. Maintain detailed records of work performed and communicate effectively with team members to ensure project timelines are met. Qualifications Proven experience in construction estimating, site work, or related fields with a focus on window and door installation. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and handymen experience for various construction tasks. Strong knowledge of glass installation techniques, caulking, trim carpentry, and fixture or cabinet installation. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Experience with fabrication or manufacturing processes related to windows or doors is a plus. Familiarity with construction site safety practices including heavy lifting and metal stud framing. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to different remodeling or renovation projects.
