Position Overview
We're looking for an experienced Floor Technician who takes pride in their craft and delivers top-quality results. If you specialize in stripping, waxing, and refinishing floors and enjoy working independently while maintaining high standards—this role is for you.
What You'll Do
Strip, wax, buff, and refinish VCT and other flooring surfaces
Properly mix and apply floor finishes and stripping solutions
Operate buffers, burnishers, scrubbers, and wet/dry vacuums
Maintain equipment in safe, clean working condition
Follow all safety procedures and use PPE properly
Complete work efficiently while maintaining high-quality results
Communicate professionally with supervisors and clients
What We're Looking For
Minimum 2 years of commercial floor care experience (REQUIRED)
Strong knowledge of stripping, waxing, buffing, and polishing techniques
Ability to safely operate floor care equipment
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work
Valid Driver's License (REQUIRED)
Reliable transportation & strong attendance
Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in commercial settings (schools, hospitals, offices, etc.)
Ability to work independently
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
