Full Job Description Summary:

This position is responsible for providing electrical and mechanical repair and maintenance support throughout the facility.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintenance & Repair:

Perform hands-on preventative maintenance and electrical/mechanical repair work throughout the facility Maintain department tools and equipment, including inventory tracking and timely repairs Participate in new equipment installations, modifications, and special projects Assist with opening and closing of the facility as needed Service, repair, calibrate, regulate, fine-tune, and test machines, devices, and equipment operating on electrical, electronic, and mechanical principles Provide maintenance support to production and other departments as needed Communicate effectively with supervisors, co-workers, and team members via phone, email, or in person Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Skills:

Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills Fabrication and machine shop proficiency Welding experience — MIG, TIG, and Arc Basic PLC troubleshooting Intermediate to expert-level knowledge of electrical controls Proven problem-solving, prioritization, and multitasking abilities Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and technical documents to determine proper methods, sequences, and work plans

Education & Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment

Additional Duties:

General housekeeping, safety compliance, and additional projects or assignments may be directed by a Supervisor or Manager during machine downtime, production shutdowns, or as otherwise needed.
