Maintenance Technician

Job Description Mullica Gardens Assisted Living is seeking a dependable and experienced Maintenance Technician to help maintain a safe, comfortable, and well-functioning environment for our residents and staff. This role is essential in ensuring our facility remains in excellent condition and compliant with all safety standards. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and staff Conduct regular inspections of building systems and equipment Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and facility policies Maintain grounds, including light landscaping, trash removal, and snow/ice management Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors when necessary Keep accurate maintenance logs and inventory of supplies Assist in emergency maintenance situations as needed Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required 1+ years of maintenance experience (healthcare or assisted living preferred) Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks Good communication and customer service skills Must be able to lift, bend, and perform physical tasks as required Valid driver's license preferred Why Join Mullica Gardens?
