Maintenance Mechanic

Job Summary We are seeking experienced Maintenance Mechanics to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial machinery and production equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Direct Hire Pay:

$33•34/hr based on experience Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment, motors, conveyors, pneumatic tools, and machinery Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Diagnose equipment issues using measuring and testing instruments Dismantle and replace defective machine parts using hand and power tools Read blueprints and equipment layouts to install and maintain machinery Fabricate repair parts using shop equipment including lathes, drill presses, milling machines, and welding tools Maintain inventory of maintenance parts and supplies Document repairs and maintenance activities using computerized maintenance systems Communicate equipment issues and repair solutions effectively with team members Support training of mechanics and apprentices as needed Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment Qualifications Journeyman certification, related degree/certification with 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience, OR 10+ years performing complex mechanical maintenance work Strong experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals Experience using precision measuring tools including calipers and micrometers Welding and fabrication experience preferred Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment and troubleshooting production equipment Additional Requirements Must be able to safely perform physical job duties in an industrial environment Pre-employment medical examination required, including X-ray Why Apply?
