  • Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities maintenance and possess a variety of technical skills, including electrical experience and mechanical knowledge. This role involves ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing repairs. The Maintenance Technician will also be responsible for supervising maintenance activities and providing excellent customer service to ensure a safe and efficient working environment. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and repair issues related to programmable logic controllers, electrical systems, and mechanical components. Utilize schematics to diagnose problems and implement effective solutions. Conduct welding tasks as needed for repairs or modifications. Oversee facilities maintenance projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Provide leadership and supervision to junior maintenance staff as required. Assist with residential painting projects to maintain the aesthetic quality of the facilities. Deliver exceptional customer service while interacting with staff and clients during maintenance activities. Requirements Proven experience in maintenance roles, preferably within manufacturing or facilities management settings. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read and interpret schematics. Proficiency in electrical systems, including the use of an ohmmeter for testing purposes. Experience with programmable logic controllers is highly desirable. Familiarity with welding techniques and equipment. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Previous supervisory experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership capabilities. A commitment to safety practices and attention to detail in all tasks performed. Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
