• $60,000 per year (based on experience) Full-Time | Weekdays + Occasional Event Support Premier event and banquet venue in Northern New Jersey, is seeking a reliable, hands-on Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep, safety, and functionality of our property and event spaces.

This is a key, long-term position responsible for keeping the venue operating smoothly and event-ready at all times. What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is: Reliable and consistent (excellent attendance is critical) Mechanically inclined and comfortable with general repairs Able to work independently and take initiative Detail-oriented and proactive in identifying issues Comfortable working in a fast-paced event environment Professional and respectful in communication Responsibilities General building maintenance and repairs Light plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work Setup and breakdown support for event spaces Basic HVAC troubleshooting and vendor coordination Painting, touch-ups, and ongoing facility upkeep Ensuring all areas are clean, safe, and event-ready Quick response to maintenance issues before and during events Assisting with deliveries and physical setup tasks as needed Requirements Prior maintenance, handyman, or facilities experience required Strong attendance and reliability history Ability to lift, move, and perform physical labor Must have reliable transportation Must be available for occasional evenings/weekends (events) Preferred Experience (Not Required) Hotel, banquet hall, school, or commercial facility maintenance Basic HVAC, plumbing, or electrical knowledge Event setup or production experience What We Offer $50,000
