MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to ensure the optimal functionality and appearance of our facilities. This role is crucial in maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for our residents and staff. Key Respo nsibilities for a

Maintenance Technician:

Perform routine and preventive maintenance on building systems, equipment, and grounds. Troubleshoot and complete minor electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical repairs. Respond promptly to maintenance service requests across all HCS locations. Conduct general cosmetic maintenance such as painting, spackling, and replacing ceiling tiles. Support seasonal snow removal, including shoveling, plowing, salting, and clearing walkways. Participate in safety checks, fire drills, and regulatory inspections. Coordinate and monitor work performed by external contractors and vendors.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in building maintenance. High school diploma or trade school graduate. Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently and perform physical tasks. Valid New Jersey driver's license with a clean driving record. Basic computer and email proficiency preferred.
