Job Summary:
- We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Floating Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team in Albuquerque, NM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance tasks on machinery, equipment, and systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural issues as they arise, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with site managers to prioritize maintenance requests and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and inventory usage.
- Assist in the coordination and supervision of external contractors for specialized repairs or larger projects.
- Travel to various job sites within the Albuquerque area as needed to provide maintenance support.
- Uphold a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company health and safety policies.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in maintenance or a related field, with a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting effectively with team members and clients.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel between job sites.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required.
- Certification in maintenance or a relevant trade is a plus.
