Job Description

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
: High School Diploma Must dress accordingly and keep a professional appearance. Additional technical training in general maintenance work preferred (EPA-Refridgeration). Must be literate. Must communicate well. Must know math computations. Knowledgeable in Blueprint Reading and Translation. Knowledgeable in Inventory Procedures. Must have a current New Mexico Driver's License. Must maintain and keep a daily work log. Must be able to pass a drug test (initial hire and random). Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds, when required Must be able to kneel, squat, crawl, bend and walk without limitations Other qualifications determined to be necessary by the district.

: Facilities Manager
JOB GOAL
To provide the Dulce School District a variety of maintenance work and repair, tasks in one or more craft areas. Responsible for maintenance and repair work, plumbing, painting, electrical, carpentry and HVAC. Also, will work as a team or alone to complete any other task designated by the facilities manager.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
: Perform work orders issued by maintenance supervisor in a prompt and professional manner. Report to supervisor any tasks that have not been completed.
ELECTRICAL
•Install, repair and maintain electric energy equipment. Perform diagnosis and maintenance on electrical equipment.
HVAC MECHANIC
•Install, repair and maintain heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems. Inspect piping, valves and other related equipment for preventive maintenance purposes.
PLUMBING
•Install, repair and maintain all types of plumbing systems and fixtures.
CARPENTRY
•Perform carpentry repair duties to ensure the safe condition of school facilities. Examine facilities on a regular basis for purposes of preventive maintenance.
MAINTENANCE SPECIALIST
•Maintain operating condition of buildings and equipment and complete simple repairs. Utilize knowledge of fundamental mechanical, electrical, carpentry, plumbing or heating and cooling skills in performing assignments.
GENERAL LABOR
•complete jobs to maintain or repair building facilities, fixtures, furniture or equipment. Assists other maintenance workers and supervisor in projects being undertaken, assists in loading and unloading, delivering and picking up supplies/materials. May require physical work in performing odd jobs. Operate and care for common hand or power tools and equipment.
SNOW REMOVAL GROUNDS MAINTENANCE
Meet OSHA and Environmental compliance requirements. Operate heavy equipment (Backhoe).
