Handyman/Laborer

Overview We are seeking a motivated and versatile Handyman/Laborer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining, repairing, and improving a variety of residential and commercial properties. Your hands-on skills will help ensure that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Responsibilities Perform general maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, painting, and drywall repair to keep properties in optimal condition. Operate power tools and hand tools safely to complete tasks such as framing, trim carpentry, door hanging, and fixture installation. Assist with construction projects by reading blueprints and schematics to accurately execute tasks like concrete forming, masonry, roofing, and stucco application. Conduct construction site inspections to ensure safety compliance and quality standards are met throughout each phase of work. Fabricate or modify materials as needed for remodeling or restoration projects using welding, fabrication techniques, or heavy equipment operation. Support installation of flooring, tile laying, glass installation, cabinetry, hardscape features, and other finishing touches that enhance property value. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols at all times. Experience Proven hands-on experience in construction or maintenance roles with a strong understanding of construction management principles. Familiarity with construction estimating processes and ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Practical knowledge of plumbing systems, electrical wiring, roofing techniques, masonry work, and concrete finishing. Experience operating power tools such as saws, drills, grinders, and heavy equipment is highly desirable. Ability to perform detailed inspections on construction sites ensuring compliance with safety standards and project specifications. Prior work involving restoration projects or remodeling is a plus; certification in relevant trades is advantageous but not required. Strong problem-solving skills combined with the ability to adapt quickly on diverse job sites.
